We are always so grateful for the kind and generous support from the community for our seniors this holiday season.
This year, we have created an Amazon Gift List with the hope that we can provide a needed gift to a Senior in need. The list contains blankets, puzzle books, jigsaws and fluffy socks and all items can be shipped to our temporary office location (2001 N Main St, Ste 300, 94596). If you would like to make a gift, there is a handy gift giving guide on items you can make either with your work team, group or at home.
"It's so lovely to be able to deliver a meal and a gift for the holidays". Michelle Hayward, Director of Development and Community Relations says. She adds; "Our seniors are homebound and often living in basic conditions. a gift of a warm blanket or a jigsaw puzzle can make someone's day".
The gift drive is open now until December 12 and we aim to assemble and deliver all gifts to our seniors before 24 December.
If you know someone who could benefit for our services, please inquire on our website www.mowdiabloregion.org or by calling 925 937 8311 info@mowdr.org
