Support Services for Older Adults

At Meals on Wheels Diablo Region, we aim to help older adults lead healthy, independent lives, and that support goes beyond meal delivery. Our Care Management and Outreach specialists help older adults and their families navigate difficult situations by connecting them with helpful resources and providing direct assistance when possible. Through personalized support, our Care Management team helps clients find solutions to a wide range of challenges, empowering them to live more independently and confidently.

Basic Care items and Supplies

We sometimes have basic care items and supplies available to provide to older adults in need. If you know someone age 60 or older* who may benefit from items such as walkers, wheelchairs, bed rails, adult incontinence products, protein shakes, or other basic supplies, please contact us, our team will be happy to see if we have something available.

We also accept donations of gently used mobility and care equipment to distribute to our clients. Items must be in excellent condition. Protein shakes and incontinence products must be unopened, unused, and within their expiration date.

*Must be a resident of Contra Costa County.
